ABOUT
Under Control is a first person narrative driven low poly, cyberpunk shooter. It is produced via a Game Development company called Bones Productions which consists of Olivia Carbone. Under Control is compatible for PC and invites the player to be present with the underlying messages regarding technology and its possible destruction.
STORY
In an overpopulated city where poverty is the most common killer, Johnny is forced to partake in a testing of a new VR experience to afford dinner for his family. The new VR experience is produced by an entertainment hungry company unbeknown by Johnny and the other lower class civilians, simply for entertainment of the upper class civilians and a horrible gruesome way to reduce the city’s population.
OBJECTIVE
Under Control is produced to teach its players about the extremely negative impact technology can have on an individual, society and country. Whilst playing Under Control, Bones Productions hopes to portray how technology can be used for manipulation and how powerful and frightening that aspect of technology is.
